Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, June 07, 2010 - Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. ("Sunplus" or "the Company") (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today announced that monthly net sales for May 2010 totaled NT$593 million, a decrease of 7.64% compared to last month and an increase of 2.82% compared to the same month in 2009. The sales of Multimedia ICs for May 2010 was NT$579 million, which decreased 8.65% compared to last month and increased 3.12% compared to the same month in 2009.

Net sales for January through May 2010 totaled NT$2,900 million, an increase of 40.15% compared to the same period in 2009.
