Sunplus Announces 3Q'07 Financial Result
Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, October 26th, 2007 - Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today announced its financial results of 3rd quarter in 2007. The sales from January to September in 2007 totaled NT$7,138 million, which grew -48.1% comparing with the same period in 2006 due to the spin-off last year. The gross margin was improved to 43.8% while gross margin in the same period last year was 32.8%. The net profit from January to September in 2007 was NT$1,892 million, and the earning per share was NT$3.4 based on the outstanding 556,051,447 shares on September 30th, 2007.

The net sales of 3Q'07 was NT$2,075 million, which grew -8.1% comparing with 2Q'07. The gross margin in 3Q'07 was 41.5%. The net profit in 3Q'07 was NT$696 million, which grew 29.6% comparing with last quarter. The earning per share in 3Q'07 was NT$1.25 based on the outstanding 556,051,447 shares on September 30th, 2007.
