Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, August 5, 2011 - Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. ("Sunplus" or "the Company") (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today announced that monthly net sales for July 2011 totaled NT$215 million, a decrease of 20.83% compared to last month and 57.92% compared to the same month in 2010.

Net sales for January through July 2011 totaled NT$2,284 million, a decrease of 42% compared to the same period in 2010.
