Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, June 8, 2011 - Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. ("Sunplus" or "the Company") (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today announced that monthly net sales for May 2011 totaled NT$374 million, a decrease of 4.10% compared to last month and 37.01% compared to the same month in 2010.

Net sales for January through May 2011 totaled NT$1,797 million, a decrease of 38.05% compared to the same period in 2010.
