Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, November 06, 2009 - Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. ("Sunplus" or "the Company") (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today announced that monthly net sales for October 2009 totaled NT$911 million, an increase of 6.81% compared to last month and 67.38% compared to the same month in 2008. The sales of multimedia IC for October 2009 was NT$898 million which increased 6.9% compared to last month and 78.71% compared to the same month in 2008.

Net sales for January through October 2009 totaled NT$5,817 million, an increase of 5.55% compared to the same period in 2008.
